Design Description

fierceblooms - 'time for change' - Exhibit No 37a

An enchanted wild garden style floral compass points the way to a more sustainable floral future.

Inspired by the flowers grown and dried in the designers canalside cutting garden, the installation uses exclusively British grown seasonal flowers in purples, whites and blues, for sustainability and as a nod to the coronation.

Using innovative, reusable and biodegradable mechanics, string and straw are used to create a wreath and garlands that surround the floral compass.

The wren, the swan, the snail and their other wild garden friends invite you on your own sustainable floral journey.
