Fierce Flower Classes & TutelageDetails of wild garden style workshops and one-to-one intensives
British flowers are at the heart of my floral business for both environmental and aesthetic reasons.
Sharing how I "do the flowers" is something I adore be that for individual tutelage or in our seasonal flower workshops which we call fierce flower classes.
We run most of our fierce flower classes from our vintage village hall in the lovely rural Cheshire village of Church Minshull. Our hall started life housing Canadian troops during the second world war. It has charm and character and soul but it has also been lovingly updated to become a vibrant part of our village community. Supporting our community matters to us which is why we have chosen to hold workshops there. However, we also take the opportunity to travel slightly further afield for classes too - for example a workshop in a beautiful walled garden in rural North Wales.
Professionally run classes are kept intentionally small. It's important to me that I deliver what I promise and that includes spending enough time with everyone who attends. We foster a relaxed environment that is ideal for learning and immersing yourself in your own creative practice.

At the heart of every one of our flower workshops are British seasonal flowers and environmentally friendly designs. I watch the narrow boats and the seasons drift by. My canalside cutting garden is both the source and the inspiration for the ingredients I provide to teach our wild garden style of designs.
There is no need to worry about bringing your own flowers or anything else for that matter to the flower workshop. Everything is provided for you including our unique and unusual natural ingredients. And something yummy to eat. Really yummy. Homemade and comforting with vintage crockery much like our hall would have had when it was first built. We want you to have a lovely creative relaxing time and design something that is inspired from our class but utterly unique to you.
If you are curious about learning how to arrange flowers without costing the environment dear, every floral design I now make is done with no floral foam. I can no longer justify using it - after all it is effectively another contributor to the problem of single use plastic. I can show you how eliminate floral foam from your floral practice.

It goes without saying but perhaps it is worth emphasising that all of the flowers in my fierce flower classes are British and have either been grown in my canalside cutting garden or sourced from other British growers who feel the same way I do about eco-floristry.
My currently booking fierce flowers classes are listed below. Spend a few minutes browsing them - I'm sure you will find something that will pique your floral interest.
