Sustainable Wild Spring Wreath Class
26 April @ 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm
One event on 26 April 2020 at 2:00 pm
Everyone needs time for themselves. Everyone needs a moment to cultivate their own creative practice. Our very British floral creative classes give you both the space and time to be. And to create. Let the beauty of our British flowers grown in their natural season be your inspiration.
I plant quite a few beautiful spring bulbs in our own canalside cutting garden. The aspiration is to design our wild spring wreaths incorporating our living flowering bulbs. Of course, my flowers grow outside and are dependent on the vagaries of nature and the 2020 spring season.
Let the beauty of our British flowers grown in their natural season be your inspiration.
We’ll provide all the practical guidance you’ll need to craft your own sustainable floral mechanics.
I’ll show you how I make my wild garden style living floral wreaths, including the shapes and textures I choose.
All materials for this Spring wreath class will be provided, as well as the use of scissors and aprons.
The wild Spring wreath design will capture the essence of the spring season and echo Constance Spry’s natural romantic style.
I will let you into the secrets of how to cut and condition your flowers. I’ll also tell you the specific bulb varieties that I grow in my cutting garden a few moments away. During our time together, I’ll share my thoughts on how to nurture your own creative inspiration.
Our classes are kept intentionally small so that I can guide you while making your own creation.
This wild spring wreath class would make a thoughtful present.
This spring wreath class is being held in our little vintage village hall in Church Minshull where ample parking is available. If you intend to attend from further afield, lunch can also be obtained in our local pub, The Badger Inn, just across the road (separate charges will apply), with accommodation also available if required for the night before.
This wild spring wreath class would also make a thoughtful present. Beautiful gift cards available on request.

British flowers are key to my wild garden style floral design for both aesthetic and environmental reasons.
Iam an artisan florist growing British flowers with a design studio and cutting garden nestled beside a historic canal in rural Cheshire.
If sustainability is important to you, if it matters that your flowers are as lovely to the environment as they are to look at, then I am a kindred spirit.
