Summer Garden Bouquet Design Workshop
27 August 2019 @ 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm£50
Join Fierceblooms for a rather special workshop, hosted at the beautiful Laundry Retreat Walled Garden between Denbigh and Ruthin, near the village of Llanrhaeadr in North Wales.
The Walled Garden borders the converted Laundry and Dairy to Llanrhaeadr Hall. The garden has been lovingly restored for over a decade by Jenny Williams and her husband Tom and is where Jenny grows exquisite seasonal garden flowers, branches and greenery.
Fierceblooms is a Welsh artisan floral designer and cut flower grower living just over the border in Cheshire. Her designs use exclusively British seasonal flowers many of which are grown in her own canalside cutting garden.
In August, Jenny’s walled garden will be filled with the finest late summer flowers like dahlias, summer flowering perennials including verbena, sedums some sculptural grasses and intricate stems.
In a relaxed and open environment, using flowers grown by Jenny and Fierceblooms, hear about our experience of growing and design while learning how to arrange your flowers to create your stunning Summer garden bouquet . We share our garden-inspired design philosophy and the importance of provenance and seasonality in our work.

This workshop is open to all levels, from beginners to seasoned florists and arrangers looking for fresh floral inspiration.
If you are in the mood for a longer get away, come and stay the night, or a few, at the beautiful Laundry House B&B or soak up the Clwydian views inside the newly built Roundhouse at the Laundry Retreat.
And of course there will be plenty of homemade tea and cake included too!

British flowers are key to my wild garden style floral design for both aesthetic and environmental reasons.
Iam an artisan florist growing British flowers with a design studio and cutting garden nestled beside a historic canal in rural Cheshire.
If sustainability is important to you, if it matters that your flowers are as lovely to the environment as they are to look at, then I am a kindred spirit.
Get in touch to discuss your wedding or event. You can also be inspired and learn what informs my original designs by attending one of my 2020 flower classes - have a look at the full programme on the site.
