Mothers Day Hand Tied Floral Bouquet Class
30 March @ 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm£55
In this hand tied bouquet class on the eve of mothering Sunday, you will learn ethical floristry techniques in an inspiring and creative environment. I will show you how to cut and condition your flowers as you take time to be inspired by the fragrance and flowers of the spring season.
This flower workshop, on the eve of Mothering Sunday 2019, would also make the perfect Mothers Day gift for your mum, gran or any special person in your life.
You will gain an understanding of the ideal types of seasonal ingredients to choose to create a beautiful scented wild garden style hand tied bouquet.
All the ingredients will be ethically sourced, and either grown in my canalside cutting garden or sourced from other eco friendly British growers. It is important to us that the beautiful flowers in our eco friendly flower classes have minimal impact on the environment.
You’ll come away with your very own seeds to plant for your very own cutting garden in the summer.
Our eco friendly floral design classes are held in our vintage village hall. If you choose to attend both classes, lunch will be served in our local pub just across the road (separate charges will apply), with accommodation available if you’ve traveled from further afield.
I will demonstrate how to create a hand tied bouquet in my wild garden style of floral design using flowers and foliage from my canalside cutting garden. Our classes are kept intentionally small so that I can guide you while making your own creation.
This hand tied floral bouquet class would make the perfect Mothers Day gift.
There will of course be sustenance as you create your floral masterpiece – tea served in vintage cups and something yummy (my home made fruit cake loaf is legendary she says modestly).
And of course our courses can be bought as an ideal mothers day gift. Let us know if yours is for this purpose and we can send a gift card to your lucky recipient.

British flowers are at the heart of my wild garden style floral design for both aesthetic and environmental reasons.
Iam an artisan florist and flower grower with a design studio and cutting garden nestled beside a historic canal in rural Cheshire.
If it is important to you that your flowers are as lovely to the environment as they are to look at, then I am a kindred spirit.
Get in touch to discuss your wedding or event. You can also get inspired and learn what informs my designs by attending one of my flower classes.
