Everlasting Dried Autumn Wreath Class
10 October @ 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm
One event on 10 October 2020 at 2:00 pm
Everyone needs time for themselves. Everyone needs a moment to cultivate their own creative practice. Our very British floral creative classes give you both the space and time to be. And to create. Let the beauty of our British flowers grown in their natural season be your inspiration.
Let the beauty of our British flowers grown in their natural season be your inspiration.
We will have been growing and drying our own unique canalside cutting garden flowers and our wild weeds at the edges of our cutting garden all year round. This is so you can design an everlasting dried autumn wreath that will last forever.
We’ll provide all the practical guidance you’ll need to craft your own sustainable floral mechanics.
I’ll show you how I make my wild garden style everlasting dried flower autumn wreaths, including the shapes and textures I choose. All materials will be provided, as well as the use of scissors and aprons.
On your Autumn wreath class, the design of your everlasting wreath will capture the essence of the Autumnal season and echo Constance Spry’s natural romantic style. I will let you into the secrets of how to cut and condition your flowers. This is still important for dried flowers. I’ll also tell you the specific varieties that I grow in my cutting garden a few moments away. During our time together, I’ll share my thoughts on how to nurture your own creative process.
You’ll make something beautiful inspired by the fruits and harvest of the British autumnal season. I also hope that you will leave with a renewed sense of creative possibilities for your own floristry.
Our classes are kept intentionally small so that I can guide you while making your own creation.

British flowers are key to my wild garden style floral design for both aesthetic and environmental reasons.
Iam an artisan florist growing British flowers with a design studio and cutting garden nestled beside a historic canal in rural Cheshire.
If sustainability is important to you, if it matters that your flowers are as lovely to the environment as they are to look at, then I am a kindred spirit.
