British Flowers Sustainable Summer Bouquet Class
21 June @ 10:00 am - 12:30 pm
One event on 21 June 2020 at 2:00 pm
I will share how I make my summer bouquet mechanics and demonstrate how to create your very own British summer inspired bouquet in my wild garden style of floral design.
I will share the ideal shapes and textures to use in your sustainable summer bouquet design to capture the essence of this summer’s seasonal moment. I’ll share my best practice for cutting and conditioning your summer flowers, an art in itself.
You’ll hear about the specific varieties that I have chosen to grow in my cutting garden as well as about the wild weeds that grow themselves in order to create a beautiful scented wild garden style summer bouquet which you can proudly take home.

All the ingredients will be sustainably sourced, and either grown in my canalside cutting garden or obtained from other environmentally friendly British Flowers growers. It is important to us that the beautiful flowers in our eco friendly flower classes have minimal impact on the environment. Let the beauty of our British flowers grown in their natural season be your creative inspiration.
Our flower classes are kept intentionally small so that everyone can be guided while making your own summer bouquet.

British flowers are key to my wild garden style floral design for both aesthetic and environmental reasons.
Iam an artisan florist growing British flowers with a design studio and cutting garden nestled beside a historic canal in rural Cheshire.
If sustainability is important to you, if it matters that your flowers are as lovely to the environment as they are to look at, then I am a kindred spirit.
