Floral Cuttings Late Winter 2022

Summary

It is late winter and new growth is beginning. We’re taking the energy and enthusiasm of the moment to make plans for our cutting garden.

Late Winter last year, whilst zoom teaching a 5 year old, a teacher mentioned the “3 P’s”, and I think of it now. Positivity, Perseverance, and Practice.

Fast forward and we’ve spent time this winter to share our sustainable floral ethos with student florists at the local Agricultural college Reesehealth. Education matters more than ever, especially as the genuine interest in sustainable floral design starts to blossom.

Imbolc begins this evening, the ancient Celtic celebration of spring. New growth is beginning. We’re taking the energy and enthusiasm of the moment to make plans for our cutting garden.

Our snowdrop lawn and the next sweetpea varieties sown were the highlights in January’s “Floral Cuttings”, our regular flower cutting garden news. Do sign up if you’d like to know what this flower grower is doing this February in our Cheshire canalside cut flower garden.

Do look out our limited local bespoke British, garden grown Mother’s Day flower bouquets, as an act of kindness in sending to a loved someone, and an act of restorative kindness to the environment too. Pre-order will be available very soon.
